PhD in Material Science and Metallurgy, M.Sc. in Material Science Engineering by the European School of Materials Science Engineers of University of Lorraine.
Currently holding the position of Research, Development & Innovation Engineer, and Team manager at Fives Cryo, with a major interest in innovative projects targeting the development of new technologies of heat exchangers and new energy sources applications.
Experienced in European R&D programs on supercritical CO₂.

Process Engineer with a master degree in Chemical Engineering from a french school of engineering (ENSIC, Nancy), Gaëtan BECKER held various positions in the nuclear fuel reprocessing industry from 2009 to 2022, where he developed his expertise in chemical engineering, thermal engineering and thermodynamics. He joined Fives Cryo in July 2022 as a process simulation engineer. As member of Research, Development and Innovation team, his main duties are simulating the integration of Fives’ heat exchangers into the customer’s processes and contributing to collaborations with academic and industrial partners.
