He graduated as Mechanical Engineer from the University of Florence and holds a PhD in Energy Engineering from the same University. He has been working for over 22 years on R&D programs, designing complex test systems at the beginning of his career and later managing the R&D experimental verification laboratory. His current assignment is technology development and research collaborations in the Innovation division.
Senior Engineer for Systems Operability of Centrifugal Compressors and Turboexpanders
Focused on supercritical CO₂ Brayton cycles for the past 4 years. She is also a Doctoral Researcher at the Imperial College of London, Aeronautics department, where she studies safety related to gas explosion events. She graduated in 2011 from the University of Genoa in Mechanical Engineering, specializing in Energy Engineering.
External Funding and Technology Development Manager
She graduated as Chemist from the University of Florence in 1998 and holds a PhD in Chemistry from the same University. She has been working in the field of research (chemistry, biochemistry and engineering as funding manager), education, scientific patents and had managing role in research infrastructure of a not-for-profit association and university. In BH she is responsible to foster cooperation and coordination of innovation and technology development among different businesses and functions.
Principal Engineer for Steam Turbines and Axial Expanders
He graduated as Mechanical Engineer at the University of Pisa. He is being working since 2001 for Baker Hughes Nuovo Pignone, covering different roles within the engineering department. His current role is Principal Engineer for Steam Turbines and Axial Expanders, with special focus on R&D programs. In the last years he has coordinated the conceptual and detailed design of axial expanders for new emerging applications like supercritical CO₂ and energy storage.
